Shindig!
Song of the week!

Here at Shindig, we have many tunes that we like to play at almost every party. I call them Shindig! standards. Here's a great little jump blues tune from Muddy Water's Blues Organ (Harmonica) player, Little Walter. Not only did Little Walter play the mouth harp with Waters, he was also famous for introducing the world to the amplified harmonica sound on Muddy's , "Country Boy / Too Young to Know" single released in 1951.

If that wasn't he enough, after going solo, he scored Fourteen Top Ten hits on the Billboard R&B charts between 1952 and 1958, including two songs that went all the way to number one. A feat never achieved by Muddy Waters himself. Here's one of his Number One Hits "My Babe" originally released on Chess Records in 1955.

Enjoy!
