Hey Shindiggers! I wanted to share a recent discovery with you. A new Rhythm & Blues artist that's doin' it proper in San Francisco California, Nick Waterhouse!

He is the owner of Press Records and the leader of the band Nick Waterhouse & The Tarots. He is going out of his way to use the best methods of production recording on all analogue equipment and mastering each 45 straight from tape to lacquer. None of  his 7" 45 RPM vinyl pressings ever get put in to a digital format or processed by any computer programs much like the way they do things over at Daptone Records in Brooklyn. We here at Shindig! are fans of both record labels and we like to think of ourselves as 7" connoisseurs of sorts, and to us, nothing beats a pure analogue sound!
